Memorable Moments in Korea - Syahidah

To be honest, every single second in this Korea trip was memorable. From the starting till the end, I just cant get enough of them. I wish I could have a time machine and repeat those awesome 7 days again. I didn't expect this trip to be so FUN! I was glad that I made some pretty crazy good friends during the trip.

The visit to the Folk Village and Korean Cultural and Historical Tour was good, I manage to learn about Korean culture more. On the first day, I was given the chance to "draw" my name in Korean Characters. During the historical tour, I learnt about the different men in the Korean won and about the different presidents.

The visit to the different universities such as Hanyang University and Korea National University of Arts was actually a great opportunity for us to know more about what Korea students are learning and what they are learning differ from what we, Singaporean students are learning. I had a good time exploring the different tools the students are using for learning.

The visit to Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), which I thought will be boring was actually pretty interesting. I was really amazed by all of the advanced technology the have created in Korea. In fact, some of them are more advanced than in Singapore. One thing that really grabbed my attention and till now, I still remember was the telephone. Usually when someone answer a phone call, they put it on their ear, however, the telephone in ETRI, you have to put it on your head instead in order for you to listen to the incoming call. I had lots of fun messing around with that specific phone.

The visit to KOSCOM actually help me to understand better about how the business management works in the company in Korea such as KOSCOM. The slides and information they showed us about the business process and their products was really detailed and specific.

The visit to Munhwa Broadcasting Centre (MBC) was great. I am thankful that we were able to go inside the building itself and explore. This is a really rare opportunity. We were shown around the studio whereby they do filming of morning news and tv shows. Also, we managed to see the radio station studio and yes, while walking around, we did witness some radio shows whereby there was some guest artiste and the DJ itself.

Not to forget, the place I enjoyed most was at SEOUL TOWER! It was such a beautiful place. Despite having to climb the never ending hill, it was still good :)

OVERALL, I HAD A REALLY GOOD TIME IN KOREA!
THIS IS MY FIRST OVERSEAS TRIP AND IT WAS AMAZING!
THANK YOU ADVISORS AND FRIENDS FOR THE WONDERFUL TIME IN KOREA :)

Memorable moment - Eka

There were many memorable moments made during this trip but i would say the most memorable moment would be visiting the MBC broadcasting center. It was pretty fascinating even though it was just a short tour. We have the privileged to enter the studio that they use for filming variety shows/drama/morning news. Also we get to see the equipment they used, watching the DJ conducting their radio shows, live on air. Sadly we did not manage to meet any kpop artist while walking around the building :( Anyway, it was fun! It's once in a lifetime chance to get a tour in one of the most popular and known broadcasting center in Korea.

Most Memorable Moment - Suhaili

I should say that it was a dream come true to visit South Korea! It was really beneficial as I went on visits which I gained knowlegde and experience. Not to forget, I got to go shopping at popular streets and shopping malls.

Since I've always been wanting to visit Korea, I find that everything about it was really impressive and unforgettable till I can't choose which is the most memorable one! If I really had to choose one, it would be shopping! Although I don't look like one who spends often, South Korea is like a shopping paradise which I was called upon to shop anything that caught my eye!

Nevertheless, other interesting places I visited were Koscom, Yonsei University, MBC etc. Every one of these companies/universities that I went are popular and inspiring. I had enjoyed the tour around the campus and companies' building which are really amazing and advanced in technology.

I'm glad and appreciate to be given the opportunity to go on this study trip. It has benefited not only me, but everyone who went too. I enjoyed every single day being in Korea. Definitely, I can't wait and will visit South Korea again!

Most memorable! - Ke Wei!

It definitely has to be the free and easy time and the traveling. We went to Apgujeong in our free time and the journey there was fun. We had to switch trains and walk quite a distance. You see, unlike Singapore, S.Korea's Jihachul (Subway) has countless numbers of lines that are long and confusing.
After we got there, we had to walk before we could reach our final destination. It was fun walking around in a foreign country because you are like experiencing what they do daily and to me that was the best way to immerse in their culture. It was a cheap trill because unlike Singapore, the streets in Korea are complicated with a lot of small alleys. We got lost quite a few times as we had to cut through residential car parks. Luckily a helpful postman stopped and aided us to get to our final location. The food in S.Korea are good as well. We got to try out different types of food such as Samgyetang, although I didn't particularly enjoy it. In conclusion, the trip was enjoyable and I'd definitely return to S.Korea one day.

Most Memorable moment in Korea - Lizhi

The week spent in Korea was really unforgettable as we got to visit so many places in Korea. We visited not only the companies but also places like the 63 building and Namsam tower.
What I liked most amongst the company visits ,was the visit to Digital Pavilion as there were different technologies there and we got to try out and experienced what the future might be like. It was really cool and fun .
I think one thing that is most memorable is taking the subway and the last day of the trip . The subway was really different from singapore. As it is way more complicated than Singapore. I  also found it pretty tiring as there was alot of walking required, especially when we have to transfer to another line or to another train. It felt like we walking one big round just to get to another platform. And I can never forget how many flight of stairs we had to climb . It was pretty tiring just to take a subway in Korea. They even have quite a number of exits for each station . I remembered we got a bit confused and got a little lost and we had to double check that we were in the correct train. Overall it was pretty fun and one of the most unforgettable moment of this trip.
The last day was pretty short and soon we had to return to Singapore.I think the hardest part of leaving, was biding farewell to our tour guide. As we did spent 7 days with her. As,she was really caring and helpful during the 7 days in Korea.
I will definitely visit Korea again as there are still so many places to visit!!

Memories of Korea. - Jia Shin(Luke)

It has been a truly unforgettable journey for me throughout the 8 D 6 N in Korea.During that period of time,i had lots of fun,saw lots of interesting devices and technology and also experienced a lot of different variety of foods in Korea.

I still remember that on the day when i departed for korea,i thought that 8Days were a long time, but in a flash,8 Days have come and gone, and now i feel that 8Days is a short period of time. There was a few particular memorable instances such as taking the subway from dongdaemun back to the Soeul Star Hotel,we got lost a few times as  it was our first time taking the korean subway, but thankfully the people around there are helpful and we manage to get back to our hotel in the end.

Also,i saw some interesting devices such as the talking robot, the devices for the hearin impaired .....etc during the visit to the Digital Pavilion .

Lastly,i would also miss the climate in Korea as it is forever this hot and humid in singapore.Overall,I enjoyed this trip.

Adventures of Boxers and Singlet guy in Korea !!! --- Fairul

I had so much fun during the Korea trip despite coming alone as all my friends were unable to get in :(  However, many friends were made during the trip to make it an unforgettable experience for everyone that went and all 8 days of the trip were very meaningful to me. One of the most unforgettable nights that will be remembered to me is the last night that we had in Korea before flying off the next day. We were given a huge amount of free time by ourselves to do basically WHATEVER WE WANT. The Adventure started with me and Daryn, only among both ourselves, traveling and exploring around Korea. Using the subway for transport, we went anywhere that looked nice and tempting to shop and take pictures. Two teenage students, in a foreign country, going wherever they please to. We first headed to Myeongdong, the place where the Bus left us. Shopped and walked around until we basically have walked around it twice ! Next, we took the subway to Anguk, from there we went sight-seeing and shopped too. Our next and final destination was Insadong, a place where all tourists MUST visit. It had very nice souvenirs and the place was magnificent ! We had dinner and stayed in Insadong for quite a while until we were basically tired as our feet was already killing us from all the walking. We ended up going back to the hotel, looking back at the fun nights we had in Korea and we will surely miss it !

Thanks faci's for making our trip a trip to remember and we sure had the time of our life !

I'll be back, Korea! ///// Amber

The dreamland of whoever likes Korean music! Experienced and felt more than what i see from outside of Korea. Even the feel of stepping on their land amazes me. Get to touch on their high technology creations, taking their subway as if im one of the citizens living there, walk down the streets that is totally different from Singapore. Everything, basically E V E R Y T H I N G are beautiful. One of the memorable moments during this trip will be taking subway by ourselves. From purchasing the tickets until board the subway and then finally arrived at the destination, it's a brand new experience. The differences between Korea and Singapore are pretty obvious too!

Really, Korea is a must go country!

The Most Memorable Moments (가장 기억에 남는 순간) - Ferina Arriyani

The 8 days 6 night trip was by far the most memorable trip I've been to. We went to a lot of different places thus, I have lots of unforgettable memories!

To start off, the view from the 63 building was just truly mesmerizing :)

Korea's technology is definitely advanced as we got to experience some of it when we were there. I got to try the facilities at the iCafe! It gave me a glimpse of how cafes would work in the future as everything is just a touch away from ordering to music dedication.

We visited ETRI on Day 4. I have to say that this is also on my list of memorable moments as we got a first hand look at the robot that they've invented to help human beings in the future. The robot was by far the most creepiest thing I have encountered in my life. The creepiest part is that it has feelings & it talks.

We then had our free & easy time and I am sure that everyone had an amazing time venturing Seoul on their own. As for me, I had lots of fun as my group of friends and I shopped till we drop at Dongdaemun and took the subway afterwards. That was when I felt like I was a citizen of Korea and know the area at my fingertips.

Unfortunately, all good things have to end. Sometimes it's about the people we meet that makes everything worthwhile.

With Heather.

With Choi Min Suk ( A burger king dude)

With a random guy that helped us at the subway.

With Allison <3

With Hye Lim ( A sweet girl that works at burger king)

With Cidi Choi (Our Gatsby tour guide)

With a random potato maker dude.

 The study trip was DAAEEEBBBBAAAAAKKKKKK!!!!!!!

Memorable day in Korea- Hazirah Raus

8D6N to Korea passed really quickly.
Well on the first day, i felt like it was too long till we can get to be back home.
But on that second last day, i felt like it was too soon and dying of wishing to extend the trip for another a week. So now back with humid weather, feeling stuffy and no shopping of cheap things! Daebak.
The most unforgettable moments was on the 4th day.
We transferred to a better hotel (most importantly, the toilet door is NOT a SEE-THROUGH)

Our first-time free & easy shopping without time limit and we could go back to our hotel ourselves.
Eka and I managed to conquer 5 shopping malls and most of the malls sell the same thing. But there were a lot of cheap clothes, more than half of the price than what you see in Singapore. That cliche top with pretty collars, they sell it maximum up to 15,000 won but in Singapore is roughly around 35,000 won.
CHEAP ISN'T IT?
So from 'hello aPm' to 'Doota' to 'Goodmorning city' and 2 more which i didn't notice the name of the mall.
We both have been wanting to take subway train from where we were to Yeoksam station therefore we waited for the other Malays to come back.

We were absolutely somehow-lost-but-trying on how to purchase the subway train's ticket until there was this Korean guy came up to help us. He was very friendly and helpful and he still showed us to get to another tunnel when we nearly went to the wrong one.
Ticket was cheap, roughly around 800won(80cents)

Exiting from Yeoksam station with my guidance (^^,) (I'm like the mother of these 6 girls haha),
met with this one group and they were lost.
Fret not, we helped them to find our way back to hotel although we were lost too, of course.
But what we know based on the card of the hotel, we should just walk straight up until we see the cross-junction and then turn right. We did find our way to hotel after 15 minutes walk.

While walking to the hotel

I would like to thank you for this enjoyable trip to Korea. I have learnt their culture quite well, their languages and the way they speak politely and visiting beautiful places that cannot be missed.
Making new friends was the main thing and i am glad getting along with them.
MISS YOU ALL, SARANGHAEYO ^^,)v

Most memorable - Tsz Yan

One was definitely the time I got to spent with my close friends in another country that I have always been wanting to go to.

Another thing would be how we actually got so much free time given for us to explore. Whenever I go to another country, I would want to take their public transport so I could be able to really feel that I am in that country. And we actually got to take their subway just the other day! It was a really good experience because we were in a foreign country but still able to find our way to the places we wanted to go and take their public transport.

And a big thank you to the facis and tour guide that made this study trip fun and enjoyable for everyone.

Korea. A little post from Gerald

One thing, Unforgettable? That's the trip itself. That's one BIG thing, IF you know what I mean.( I don't mean it sexually) I don't wanna name things, saying one triumphs over the other, so I'll just keep it simple. The trip was really unforgettable; we got to experience the life there, the way Singapore can never ever achieve. A relaxing slow paced life. With the competitiveness in Singapore, everything turns out to be so fast paced that some people just can't keep up. I've got to say though (I may be wrong) but especially students in Singapore, don't really get to relax (besides me *but that's because I don't study*) I hear so many stressed out students with miniscule depressions in Singapore and I think that it's totally, because we just aren't *cough* able *cough* to choose freely (oops, I didn't say that.) on what we want to do. In Singapore, we have to study in order to get to "wherever we want in our lives". Come on, man. We all know the truth. There's gonna be some guy out there, using the supposedly Broken Rules but succeeding in everything you can't achieve by following The Rule
Wait, am I side-tracking? I guess I am eh? Alright alright, the main point is that, this getaway (which is supposed to be a study trip) was a great break for all of us students, and teachers from all their troubles (EXCEPT THOSE WHO GOT BROKE DURING THE TRIP *YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE* ;)) The fun that we had, the peaceful feeling we get just sitting down having coffee, that's what made majority of the people miss this place. (Good memories). So, I'd bet you, that this trip, is the one true Unforgettable Experience that will be in our memories for a long time.

Most unforgettable memory in Korea - Eunice

The 7 days in Korea certainly passed by quickly, I think it was mainly because we were all having lots of fun to even notice the time. I had enjoyed myself in this trip, the weather in Korea is especially cooling as compared to Singapore, by meeting different people and understanding their way of life as well as their culture was truly a great and meaningful experience for me. If I were to choose the most unforgettable memory, it would be our little trip to Lotte World, KOBA exhibition 2012 in COEX and definitely shopping!

I had a lot of fun at Lotte World as the rides there are full of thrills and excitement, especially the Gyro Drop, I had never screamed that much in my life, I was waiting for it to go up slowly but instead it just shoots up without any warning and I got really shocked and all of us screamed as loud as we can as it drops down and that was a lot of fun. We had almost tried all the rides in Lotte World so it was really worth it.

Secondly is the trip to the KOBA exhibition, I was astounded by the high levels of technology devices that I had saw in the exhibition. For example providing pop-up images and animations through TV by showing the board to the camera, we also gained information as to how news are being reported without using other props but the blue screen. Also I had also understand the complex procedures that they had to maintain in order for the show to go on.

Shopping every single day where the clothes are so much cheaper was like a dream! The streets as well as the shops there are very unique in terms of the designs which can't be found in Singapore. I also like the fact that the people there are willing to give us discounts as much as 50% for our items which I think could not happen in Singapore.

This trip is the most memorable one up till now and I had \enjoyed it very much, thank you for the rare opportunity given to me to experience Korea. I would love to stay another week or two in Korea.

Most memorable time spent in Korea? - Sery

Given this opportunity to go for Korea Trip was a blessing to me.

What was most memorable for me were the people whom I spent with during the trip. Especially with people who are my close friends that I get to go with on a school trip.

It was truly an amazing once in a lifetime experience that I can never have anywhere else. Despite having our families around, this trip actually taught me to be independent. From taking care of ourselves, keeping a look out for others, traveling from places to places, taking the subway and finding directions on our own, I think it was kind of thrilling and intriguing to explore the city ourselves, experiencing those moments where you haven’t experienced it before especially in a foreign country. The industrial visits were the exceptional ones since we were given the opportunity to visit their famous MBC, ETRI, KOSCOM, K’Arts University, Namyangju Studios etc in Seoul, exclusively only for us student.

I guess if we were given the opportunity in life, we should grab it first before it falls onto someone else’s hands. Opportunities like these are rare to find. Thus, I am truly blessed to have gone to this trip!

Thank you to the people who have made this trip an enjoyable and unforgettable memory for me! I would definitely not forget the times we spent together in KOREA!

Eurobun kamsamnida! Annyeong-hi kaseyo! ~~~ v(^___^)v

Memorable Korea study trip - Debbie

I love everything about this korea trip , the people i know from this trip, the food , the culture , the people , the weather especially , basically just everything there. For every meal we had there we get to try their different types of famous food , 70% were vegetable and for every meal there will always be kimchi . We get to tour around their university( which was much bigger than rp) and also learn about their new technology .
The most memorable part for me would be going to the MBC. Looking at the radio Dj's on air was a rare opportunity. We get to see real set ups for different variety shows , it was so different to see irl compared to what we see on tv.
Would really love to spend another 6 days there , Never regretted joining this korea trip . It was really a memorable one.

Most unforgettable memory in Korea - Huiyu

This trip is so amazing. Probably the best week I ever had. I'm so glad that I've this opportunity to go on this Korea trip.

The whole trip was fun and enjoyable. SHOPPING TIME will be the best I ever had. The items sold there were cheap. Some owners will kind enough to accept our bargain price. Shorts sold at $10. I think we can't get this items at such low prices in Singapore.

Other than shopping, it would be the visit to Digital Pavillion. There are lots of cool and high-technology devices. I also get to experience how these advance technology can be use in real life.

Last but definitely not the least, I love the cooling weather in Korea. There's no such thing as perspiring during the stay in Korea!

Most Unforgettable Times In Korea - Daryn

Memories are a way of holding onto things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. The most unforgettable event that took place in Korea was in Day 6 where we had our own free time and I visited Insa-Dong, located in the middle of the city, is an interesting place where old but precious and traditional goods are on display.

Along the street are shops selling traditional souvenirs, gift items, local foods (cookies, breads), traditional teas/restaurants, etc.

Now if you are thinking of milling about the street of Korea and doing a little shopping for souvenirs, do yourself this favour and get your ass over here.

A Temple located near Insa-Dong

The bridge that we pass by a few times when we were in the bus.

Beneath the bridge lies a mini gallery of the children artworks.

Overall, nice weather, nice scenery, nice food, awesome technology. What more can you ask for?
Dream as if you'll live forever.
Live as if you'll die today.
Korea! Daebak!!!

HELPFUL - esther

Time flies and we're all back in Singapore, back to our normal life. During this whole trip, I've seen a lot of new things I've not seen before in Singapore and ate a lot of local delights which were really delicious.
For this trip, the most unforgettable experience I had was on Friday night.

As we finished our programs for the day around 4+ pm so we were given free & easy time from there onward. So Jing Wen, Shan Qi and myself decided to go to Yi-Hua University shopping area to shop. Shopped till around 9pm before we headed to take subway to head down to Yeuido Gospel Church.
Definitely, the subway line was still like strangers to us and we weren't really sure if we take the correct line and which station to change to a different line to go to our destination. Jing Wen asked a guy for directions on the subway and the guy was super friendly and helpful. He directed us to the subway line which we needed to go to and another uncle also told us that one of the lines can allow us to reach our hotel area faster. They were super polite too.

After reaching Yeuido, we met with our next problem which was how to walk to the church. So we approached a passer-by. He was super helpful too. He even called to ask his friends for directions to help us but I think he wasn't too sure about the directions too in the end. But he brought us to take a cab and wrote down the name of the place in Korean. This would make it a lot easier for the taxi uncle to understand as communication was a barrier at Korea, when we spoke English and most of them spoke Korean.

Their act of helpfulness was really unforgettable. In the first place, I thought Koreans were really ill-mannered as when we went shopping, they showed us faces and were really ill-mannered. When they want you to buy something from them, they talked to you with manners and when you say "It's okay, I want to walk around first" their faces would change. This happened almost all the time so it gave me a bad impression and after the above incident, I know that there are still a part of the population who are willing to help and who are really very well-mannered.

Overall, the study trip to Korea was WORTHWHILE & I really really enjoyed!

Lastly... I wanna say a big big THANK YOU to everybody including the 3 faci s who were with us and the 2 tour guides! If not for you all, this trip wouldn't had been this fun!

THANKS GUYS!
See you all in school soon!

Most Unforgettable Memory in Korea-Haizannurah

Korea was an interesting place. Firstly, we were all students from republic polytechnic and i was very honoured that i was chosen to be part of the members in this meaningful trip. We were brought to many different places and also it has open my eyes up to everything that i know and knew. The weather there is super cooling with their cold wind. Its one of the best thing that shouldn't be missed.  Firstly, the culture. I've heard many different types of stories from our very friendly and smiley tour guide which is very fascinating. The places that we went were filled with very advanced technologies and products. I was personally impressed with the things that were shown especially during the trip to ETRI , KOBA, Animation, Koscom and also not forgetting Digital Media Pavillion.

I certainly had lots of fun there. Its a beginning of something that i would have to learn and it may be one of the type of environment that i might work in, in the near future, maybe something of the same surroundings. On top of that, we were given lots of time to go shopping and sight seeing and a lot more shopping. This trip did not only enhanced my knowledge and skills about the types of advanced technologies that we have now but also it made us as in friends to bond and really work and get together with one another. We are able to represent ourselves well with the people in Korea and among our teams.

We met different kind of people every where we went. However, the most memorable thing was when looking at all of our friends enjoying ourselves with the activities that was given to us and really had lots of fun sharing our thoughts during dinner time where all of us would have a time to recall of the things that had happening the whole day. Times when we were sad, happy, feeling absolutely awesome or just thinking about the food we are eating as it was tough for the Muslim students to have a proper meal each day.

We really had an enjoyable time trying out their style and ways. for example; the food, the way they eat it, the Kim chi,  their subways, Night walk,*F1*-Taxi ride back to our hotel and also to communicate with the Korean people. Its a trip never you should miss.

Lastly, i would like to say Thank You very much to the 3 Facilitators that was with us and helped us through the 8 days we were with them for arranging us food that would be appropriate for the 10 Muslim students and also for their time and effort to make the trip the most AWESOME trip ever. I WANT to go KOREA AGAIN! =D

Amazing and unforgettable Korea Study Trip - Tingxin

This Korea trip was so amazing! I am so glad I got to be part of this trip and I have enjoyed every single moment of it.

The whole trip was so enjoyable and unforgettable but if I were to choose only one part of the trip that was the most unforgettable, I would have to pick the shopping.

Shopping in Seoul was extremely different as compared to Singapore and it was so good! The apparels at the malls and stalls were so beautiful, trendy and CHEAP! The best part was that we got to bargain with the shop owners, so the price of the apparel became even cheaper than the original price. As a result, many of us bought many things back home such as apparels, beauty products, snacks and more.

The other parts of the trip were so enjoyable, unforgettable and impressive too! For example, I also really enjoyed going to both Korean National University of Arts and Yonsei University. If not for this trip, I would never get to tour around the school and learning so much! The environment was so amazing and visiting the schools really inspired me. I also enjoyed going to the other places to see how advanced technology in Korea is. It feels way more advanced than in Singapore!!

This trip made me learn a lot and I really enjoyed myself so much. I can't wait to visit Korea again soon!!

Memories in Korea - Meggy

Memories defines  "the mental capacity or faculty of retaining and reviving facts, events, impressions, etc., or of recalling or recognizing previous experiences. The length of time over which recollection extends: a time within the memory of living persons

Korea is simply amazing which allows that even though it is just a short 8days trip.

I remember the excitement when we first touched down at Incheon Airport with the Captain saying " Welcome to Korea!" Amazed by the weather when we stepped out of the airport. Light gentle breeze with tinkling touch of cold air~  That moment marks my love for Korea.

I love places like that. Hence I am in awe when I enter the "palace", placing my first step in real time and taking one step further to learn more about the culture in Korea.

Do you know what's the best combination? Nice weather and Beautiful scenery.
Where ever we go, there is mean to have pots of flowers, it brightens up the place, defines spring which is captivating. No words could describe the perfect combination except to experience it and to feel it your own.

The country style of all the Cafe build up my love for Korea, time and time again alongside of streets.

All in all, Korea, DAEBAK! JJANG!

Last day of korea trip (Wardah)

Last day of korea trip was emotional, after spending a week together in korea, visiting exciting places, and meeting the people there, the thought of leaving the place that we have grown to love was hard. And especially saying goodbye to my favourite tourguide was even harder as she was very nice and caring and all and really took good care of us and made us feel comfortable and showed us many great places.

However eventhought throughout the whole week was very fun and memorable, i have to say that the most memorable and exciting place i went to was visiting te studio at MBC. I find that it was interesting because they showed us the recording studios and how much equipments they used. There was one recording studio that i find very cool, was the one that had all the instruments ready for bands to perform live on the radio, and also we get to see the props used for their local dramas and for their morning talk show.

Korea trip, 2012. - 'Aisyah.

The best week I've had this year.

The 8 days trip to Korea was an awesome one. At first, I thought it was just going to be a normal and unexciting trip, but I was so wrong. It was one of the best times I've had, ever. I love the company I had, the country, the weather, the people - I love everything about this trip. Okay, perhaps the food isn't as great as what we have in Singapore, but it was nice to taste something new.

Trips to the different universities and companies opened my eyes on how advanced technologies are in Korea. Made me more interested in my diploma(DIDM) and more keen to learn more modules related to media(audio & video) and animation.

Favourite part about this trip? The company and shopping, of course! Shopping is great, many things are very affordable and pretty at the same time. The street food there was the bomb and the places we go are beautiful. I love how we are allowed to explore the city on our own. Helps us learn more about this country and if we were to come back on our own again, at least we know how to get from here to there. My friends and I took the subway and I find it easy, despite the difference in langguage. The locals there was a great help to us eventhough there was a communication barrier, we still find a way to communicate.

Overall, this trip is not just educational but it is a trip that I will never forget.

The memories during the trip @ Korea - Jordan

I'm happy that i've the chance to go on this Korea trip ! It allows me to have much more exposure to the other side of the world beside staying in Singapore !
During this 8D 6N Korea trip , we went to afew places that we're unable to go if we're alone !
For example , we head to Koscom , Seoul Animation Centre and Namyangju Outdoor Filming Studio ! and much more !

The thing that make me unable to forget would be The shopping experience !! We shop till we drop !! especially during the first day !
However , even among all the good things there bound to be bad experience as well ! We accidentally sat on a Black Taxi ! and in the end we've to fork out around SGD $40+ just for a short trip ~ Well ! at least we know and wont be taking such expensive cab in the future !

The Most Unforgettable Memory in Seoul

I personally feel that the most unforgettable memory will be the trip to the World's largest church, Yoido Full Gospel church (holding the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest congregation). I made a trip there on the last night of our stay in Seoul, together with Jing Wen and Esther. We took a subway there after our shopping at the Ewha Womans University and we were dragging our huge and heavy shopping bags. We were late for the service which started at 9:30pm however we still manage to get some seats and join in for worships and prayers.

It seems so surreal to see 800,000 members in a church. No words could describe the feeling when you first stepped into this church. It was so unforgettable. Although this may sound a little weird/crazy, I was moved to tears. No regrets making a trip there even with empty stomachs and tired minds.

Lastly, the best thing would be the weather as it was Spring and flowers were beautiful bloomed. It was an awesome study trip to Seoul even it was just 8 days and would definitely visit there again!

Attending this Korea study trip was a once in a life time experience. I get to see how future technology was invented and also get to experience how the future would be like. It's fun and exciting to know that we will be so high tech.

There are many thing I will not forget from this trip. Firstly, The 2.5 hours travelling to ETRI and see how the us etelecommunication the next level. Secondly, the trip to the Digital Pavillion. I get to experience live how advance technology is put to use and how they can be used in real life. Thirdly, was the trip to Samsung D'Light. This place allows me to see how their local brand, Samsung, make use of the lastest technology and make into products that inspire life and improves the enviornment. Last but not least, this trip has expanded my social circle. I get to know lots of awesome people and spend quality time with them.

Most unforgettable memories spend in Korea - Kahmin

The most unforgettable memory that I spend in Korea is get to know the past, present and future of Korea. We get to learn about the past of Korea, how Korean alphabet was created during the olden day by King Sejong. It was mainly created by window. How ancestors live in the past without any IT technology.

The technology that bring us all together. Which makes the people around the world life easier and much more simpler. The trip to MBC was also a memorable trip. All the props that they use for recording popular drama. On the TV, it seems so real. But with the usage of all the equipments, the dramas looks like they are actually shoot in the real building and real house.
